Whether you’re starting out or starting over, if you’re someone who enjoys helping others – care could be for you.
CBEP’s New to Care course was developed to give people the skills and experience required to become an amazing carer. Could you be one of them?
Here’s why you should become a carer with us.
Apply NowWe have a dedicated training programme designed especially for New to Care participants. 3 weeks of classroom-based learning that’s mapped to the Care Certificate, ongoing mentorship and shadow shifts will prepare you as you take on your new role.
Enjoy full-time contracts or flexible hours with us, both with the choice of day or night shifts. Join us full-time to benefit from a company car and guaranteed hours, or flexible hours that work around your schedule.
Since we became the first healthcare employer in Kent to offer a Real Living Wage in 2014, we’ve continued to increase our pay rates. We want your pay to reflect the incredible work you do, and the 3-week New to Care training is fully-paid, too.
Once you complete your training, you’ll be provided with a permanent, full-time contract with CBEP. This means you’ll have the reassurance of guaranteed hours every week, and you can choose to work them over days or nights.
Whether you join our complex care or agency division, you’ll have a number of local placements to choose from across Kent. Work one-to-one with clients and their families at home, or in schools, care homes, supported living services or hospitals.
An opportunity to meet like-minded people, joining our New to Care course will introduce you to others who share your interests and caring nature. What better way to meet new people?
Our Nurse Managers and experienced coordinator teams are on-hand to give you the support, guidance and advice you need as you begin your new adventure with us. Don’t worry, there will always be someone at the end of the phone if you’d like to have a chat.
This one speaks for itself. At CBEP, we encourage our team members to pursue whatever it is they really care about. So, if you think that making a real, lasting difference to someone’s life is something you’ll genuinely love doing, you’re in the right place. You could even work towards an advanced role, such as Senior Carer or Field Care Supervisor.
